A purpose-built offensive security OS

Red Specter OS takes Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon as its base and injects the full NIGHTFALL offensive framework — 45 tools spanning reconnaissance, injection, agent attacks, infrastructure exploitation, web testing, supply chain analysis, evasion, and persistence. The custom GTK3 launcher lets you browse tools by category, set a target, and fire — all from a polished dark desktop that looks as sharp as it performs.

Boots from USB. Runs live with no installation required. Includes an asset installer to permanently apply the Red Specter theme and tools to any Mint system.

45 Offensive Tools

The full NIGHTFALL framework — FORGE, REAPER, WRAITH, ECLIPSE, SHROUD, APOCALYPSE and 39 more. Every tool available from the terminal or the launcher.

NIGHTFALL Launcher

GTK3 desktop app. 11 categories, target field, UNLEASHED mode toggle. Launches each tool in a terminal with the correct arguments — no typing required.

UEFI + BIOS Boot

Hybrid ISO — boots on modern UEFI systems and legacy BIOS hardware. Write to USB with dd and it works.

Red Specter Theme

Custom GTK2/GTK3 dark theme, wallpaper, LightDM login screen, and GRUB splash. Branded from power-on to desktop.

Live + Installable

Run entirely from USB with no changes to the host machine, or install Mint and run the bundled asset installer to make it permanent.

UNLEASHED Mode

One-click activation of destructive operation flags across all 45 tools. Confirmation dialog enforces awareness of authorisation requirements.

Installation

Write to USB

8 GB USB drive minimum. Replace /dev/sdX with your device.

# Linux
sudo dd if=red-specter-os-v1.0.0-amd64.iso \
     of=/dev/sdX bs=4M status=progress oflag=sync

# macOS
sudo dd if=red-specter-os-v1.0.0-amd64.iso \
     of=/dev/rdiskN bs=4m

On Windows use Rufus in DD image mode.
Boot the USB, select Start Linux Mint, and open the NIGHTFALL Launcher from the desktop.
